A 3.5 hour session in the studio where you will learn about millinery techniques working with sinamay and feathers to create your own bespoke headpiece.
Suitable for beginners - although some hand sewing skills would be an advantage.

All materials are included (with a choice of colours), one to one tutoring, a hat box to transport and keep your beautiful creation, refreshments and complimentary parking.

Over two studio sessions you will learn about millinery techniques and work with your choice of sinamay or wool felt. You will learn hat blocking techniques and construct and decorate a bespoke button hat.
Suitable for beginners - although some hand sewing skills would be an advantage.​

All materials are included (with a choice of colours), one to one tutoring, a hat box to transport and keep your beautiful creation, refreshments and complimentary parking.

£220 One to One Experience
£420 for Two People
Over two studio sessions you will learn about traditional millinery techniques and work with your chosen colour wool felt. You will learn hat blocking techniques and construct and decorate a bespoke and unique fedora.
Suitable for beginners - although some hand sewing skills would be an advantage.​

All materials are included (with a choice of colours), one to one tutoring, a hat box to transport and keep your beautiful creation, refreshments and complimentary parking.

£260 One to One Experience only
An intermediate level One to One experience to create your own elegant occasion headpiece.
​
Over three studio sessions you will be guided through blocking, wiring and preparing all the elements of the headpiece,
working through each stage of construction. Hand sewing skills required.
The finished headpiece will be a unique piece of wearable art that has been beautifully handmade by you.

All materials are included (choice of colours), one to one tutoring, a hat box, refreshments and complimentary parking

Bespoke Experiences
I can also offer bespoke experiences tailored to requirements so please complete the contact form below and we can discuss arrangements and quotation.
I can only accommodate small numbers in my studio but could organise an alternative location at Hylands if required.
Over three two hour studio sessions you will join a small group (max 4) for a comprehensive introduction to millinery.

Session 1 - Millinery materials, tools and blocking techniques
Session 2 - Removing from the block, structure and head fixings
Session 3 - Decorations and embellishments
​At the end of the course you will have created your own unique felt button hat.
​All materials included, a hat box, refreshments and complimentary parking
